Resistance is Futile/Resistance is Fertile poster project at Pro-qm | 2006
A poster was produced in collaboration with Pro-qm bookstore, as part of the Resistance is Futile/Resistance is Fertile work and distributed throughout Berlin in the fall of 2006. The poster consisted of three parts. The drawing itself depicts the means through which the insensible, paranormal and psychic affect the distribution of what can be sensed. Art is one means through which the transformation of the insensible to the sensible takes place. This has implications for how the matter of the brain/mind is reconfigured during critical periods of its development. The index on the right side of the poster indicates all the topics in the drawings and the numbers show the direct references in the bibliography included at the bottom. These are all the references used to make the drawing. The books cited could be found in the Pro-qm bookstore and visitors could use the poster as a map to find those references. The poster was also distributed on the street where it functions as a counterpoint to the commercial posters found there.
