The mutated observer, part 2 | 2002
The mutated observer part 2 was an exhibition that took place in the front gallery space of the California Museum of Photography in Riverside, one year after the Mutated Observer, part 1 show. This exhibition including
Remapping 1-6, the video installation
Blind Man’s Bluff,
Shot Reverse Shot and
Beyond the Vanishing Point Los Angeles elevated the discussion from the idea of the camera, the photograph and cinema into its relationship to the dynamic conditions that these forms of media created and placed them in the context of architecture and urban space. These ideas were then reconstituted in a much greater space for the exhibition at the Storefront for Art and Architecture in New York.
